thrifty: the embellished sweater {IV}

sweater #4!!

this black one was just sitting in my drawer, unworn because it was so matronly--at least i thought it was.

so i saw this sweater ($178!!!)...

and had some extra black knit that would be washer friendly...


and i pinned...

and sewed...

and ended up with this little treasure. {horrible photo, i know...did you know black is hard to photograph??}

a little treasure that was stolen by sister #1 promptly after the threads were cut.


apparently it isn't matronly anymore.
